Had our date with Katniss Everdeen during the first showing of the day. Well, technically it was the second because we didn’t want to see the midnight show. 1:10 p.m. There were only about 40 people in the theater and there was no waiting. #score
Movies here are much cheaper, but you have to make sure to find the movies in English with Spanish subtitles — not the ones dubbed in Spanish!
We really enjoyed it. Definitely felt darker than the first one, and I thought they did a much better job with the Katniss-Peeta chemistry.
Chris also pointed out an interesting learning from the subtitles. “Tick tock” was captioned as “tic tac.” Who knew?
